| established as a forum to facilitate the reading, writing and | ||

Yoruba translation of the English | speaking of the Yoruba language by its members |
| text on the right to follow. | worldwide. It is designed to foster the exchange of ideas, | |

stories and other learning materials in the Yoruba | |
| language among its members utilizing contemporary | ||

information technology resources. The aim of the club is to | |
| provide multimedia resources for this purpose. It is | ||

particularly for the benefit of children of Yoruba heritage in | |
| the diaspora, but open to anyone interested in learning the | ||
|
|

| Bis Bus International has identified a variety of multimedia tools suitable for the purpose of acquiring proficiency in speaking, reading and writing Yoruba. One such tool is the CD ROM - Storybook Weaver Deluxe. We shall be using this as a medium of exchange of Yoruba stories, exercises, poems, songs etc. The format which can likened to a "multimedia exercise book" comes complete with sound, pictures and words that can be tailored to individual skills and needs for lessons in Yoruba language. | ||||
